作者简介
袁珂(1916—2001),当代中国神话学大师。1946年,任职台湾省编译馆,开始系统化地研究中国神话。到1949年回到四川,继续从事文学暨神话学的研究;1978年调入四川省社会科学院任研究员,1984年担任中国神话学会主席。
袁珂先生著述颇丰。1950年,第一部神话专著《中国古代神话》出版,这是我国第一部较系统的汉民族古代神话专著,由此奠定了袁珂先生的学术声望。之后,袁珂先生先后撰写了《古神话选释》《神话论文集》《袁珂神话论集》《山海经校注》《巴蜀神话》(合著)等20多部著作及800余万字的论文。袁珂先生的多数著作在香港、台湾均多次重印,并且被翻译成俄、日、英、法、意、西班牙、捷克、韩国、世界语等多种语言。其作品还被中国、日本、美国、新加坡等国入选学校课本。

This book is a monograph of Mr. Yuan Ke expounding the broad mythological thought in order to solve the problem of the scope of mythological research, and is a starting work in the study of the basic theory of Chinese mythology. The creator of the history of Chinese mythology
About the author
Yuan Ke (1916-2001) was a master of contemporary Chinese mythology. In 1946, he worked for Taiwan Compilation and Translation Museum and began to systematically study Chinese mythology. He returned to Sichuan in 1949 and continued to study literature and mythology. In 1978, he was transferred to the Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences as a researcher, and in 1984, he became the chairman of the Chinese Mythology Society.
Mr. Yuan Ke has written extensively. In 1950, the first monograph on myths of Ancient China was published, which was the first systematic monograph on ancient myths of Han nationality in China, thus establishing Mr. Yuan Ke's academic reputation. Since then, Mr. Yuan Ke has written more than 20 works and papers of more than 8 million words, including Selected Interpretations of Ancient Myths, Essays on Myths, Essays on Yuan Ke's Myths, Notes on the Classic of Mountains and Seas, Bashu Myths (co-authored). Most of Mr. Yuan Ke's works have been reprinted many times in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and have been translated into Russian, Japanese, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Korean, Esperanto and many other languages. His works have also been selected as school textbooks in China, Japan, the United States, Singapore and other countries.
