作者简介
劳伦斯‧布洛克（Lawrence Block，1938—）生于美国布法罗，当代欧美硬汉派侦探小说标杆。他的许多作品以苍凉不安、危机四伏的纽约为背景，被誉为“纽约犯罪风景的吟游诗人”。
布洛克曾多次获得爱伦·坡奖、夏姆斯奖、马耳他之鹰奖，并且得到了美国推理作家协会颁发的终身大师奖、英国推理作家协会颁发的钻石匕首奖等推理小说界重要大奖。
布洛克主要的作品有马修·斯卡德系列、雅贼系列、伊凡·谭纳系列、奇普·哈里森系列、杀手凯勒系列等。
曾与香港著名导演王家卫合作编写电影《蓝莓之夜》的剧本。

About the author
Lawrence Block (1938 -) was born in Buffalo, the United States, the contemporary European and American tough guy detective novel benchmark. Many of his works are set in a bleak, crisis-ridden New York City, and he is known as "the bard of New York's crime scene."
Brock has won the POE Award, the Shams Award, and the Maltese Eagle Award, as well as the Lifetime Master Award from the Mystery Writers' Association of America and the Diamond Dagger Award from the British Mystery Writers' Association.
Brock's main works include the Matthew Scudder series, the Thief series, Ivan Tanner series, Chip Harrison series, the Killer Keller series and so on.
He co-wrote the screenplay of Blueberry Night with the famous Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai.
