The author Zhang Jianhua from Pushkin to Chekhov, through the history of Russian literature stars a glimpse of the Russian nation's inner world, a taste of different life, human nature, soul wonders.
Zhang Jianhua is a second-level professor of the School of Russian Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University, a doctoral supervisor, a "Evergreen Scholar", a member of the Writers' Association, a "senior translator" of the Translators Association of China, and an expert who enjoys the special government allowance of The State Council. He has long been engaged in the teaching, research and translation of Russian literature, language and culture. He is the chief editor of the Modern Russian-Chinese Double Interpretation Dictionary, and has published more than 10 translations of Russian Novels in the New Era (1985-2015), Tolstoy's Pictorial Biography, 20th Century Russian Literature: Thoughts and Schools, Hopeless Escape, and Return to Panzhirud.
