About the author
Zheng Xiaoyou, Ph.D., Department of History, Peking University, Associate Research Librarian, National Library. His research direction is the institutional history and political history of the Qing Dynasty, and he has published more than ten academic papers. He is good at writing historical literature and popular historical works, and has published books such as The Death of Nian Jiyao and the Case and Punishment in the Qing Dynasty.
