作者简介
宗白华（1897—1986），原名宗之櫆，江苏常熟人，生于安徽安庆。中国现代哲学家、美学家、诗人，中国现代美学的先行者和开拓者，被誉为“融贯中西艺术理论的一代美学大师”。1920年赴德国学习哲学和美学。1925年回国后先后在东南大学、中央大学、南京大学和北京大学哲学系任教。著有诗集《流云》、论文集《美学散步》《艺境》、书信集《三叶集》等。

About the author
Zong Baihua (1897-1986), originally named Zong Zhi櫆, was born in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, and Anqing, Anhui Province. Chinese modern philosophers, estheticians and poets, the forerunners and pioneers of Chinese modern aesthetics, are known as "a generation of aesthetic masters integrating Chinese and Western art theories". He went to Germany in 1920 to study philosophy and aesthetics. After returning to China in 1925, he successively taught in the philosophy department of Southeast University, Central University, Nanjing University and Peking University. He is the author of a collection of poems "Cloud", a collection of essays "Aesthetic Walk", "Art Wonderland", a collection of letters "Three Leaves" and so on.
