本书为“宋学研究丛书”之一种，是作者多年来研治宋代文学之述评文章的总结。全书以宋代文学为对象，以文献为基础，立足学术史，内容包含学术反思、文献考辨、知人论世、艺术分析和文化观照等。上编“学术视角与研究方法”，基于对学术史的全面了解，对文学研究中出现的许多根本性、全局性的议题进行反思，并尝试提出解决方案；中编“作者版本与作家生平”，精心考证《清江三孔集》等版本源流，及孔平仲、李正民等家族事迹，厘清诸多学术谬误；下编“艺术分析与文化关照”，对范仲淹、陆游等诸多名家著作做出契合文本和历史情境的新阐释。本书集中展示了张剑教授对宋代文献、文人、文体及文化的新发现和新论断，具有重要的学术价值。
张剑，北京大学中文系教授，主要从事唐宋文学研究及明清文学文献整理工作，近年专注于历代日记文献的整理。著有《晁说之研究》《宋代家族与文学——以澶州晁氏为中心》《莫友芝年谱长编》等。

Zhang Jian, professor of Chinese Literature at Peking University, is mainly engaged in the study of Tang and Song literature and the collation of Ming and Qing literature. In recent years, he has focused on the collation of diary documents in various dynasties.
