"Eat Fire" content introduction

"The Handmaid's Tale" author Margaret Atwood's masterpiece of poetry

"Written on Xue Tao's pad" "Another Life of Nezha" the author Zhou Zan revised the translation, the poet translated the poem, ironed and pasted the spirit

Atwood has long been known around the world for her novels, but her literary work began with poetry. This collection includes Atwood's poetry from 1965 to 1995, including two previously published anthologies, Poems: 1965-1975, Poems: 1976-1986, and a collection of poems, Morning in the House That Burned Down. Atwood's poetic language is accurate, clear, restrained, unarranged, and devoted to the exploration of rhythmic flexibility. A bus trip, a few postcards, the vast wilderness, and daily trifles can all be filled with shocking passion and power. In a large number of poems focusing on female topics, she reveals the oppression and brutality of women in the patriarchal society, and her brushstrokes are often sharp and almost cruel, reflecting the strong spiritual heritage of the poet.
