  卡塔林·考里科(KatalinKarikó),塞格德大学教授、宾夕法尼亚大学兼任教授。生物化学家,专攻RNA介导机制。2023年,凭借在核苷碱基修饰方面的发现,考里科与德鲁·韦斯曼共同获得诺贝尔生理学或医学奖。

  考里科于1982年获得匈牙利塞格德大学生物化学博士学位,随后在匈牙利生物研究中心进行博士后研究,1989年任职于宾夕法尼亚大学,并从1997年开始与韦斯曼合作。

  李敬,1986年就读于上海医科大学医学专业,1996年在宾夕法尼亚大学医学院获微生物和免疫学博士学位。在哥伦比亚大学完成肿瘤遗传博士后研究之后,一直在制药界致力于小分子药物研发,参与并领导了多个小分子新药研发项目,领域涉及肿瘤、炎症、自身免疫、代谢和遗传性疾病。在《科学》《自然遗传》《肿瘤研究》等杂志上发表五十多篇学术论文与发明专利。

  梁贵柏,新药研发一线科学家、科普作家。1992年获得威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校博士学位。在康奈尔大学完成博士后研究之后,于1994年加入默沙东新药研究院药物化学部,任职高级研究员。参与和领导了多个不同阶段的新药研发项目,在先导化合物的发现、设计、优化以及临床药物的推荐、合成等领域发表多篇学术论文与发明专利。

KatalinKariko is Professor at the University of Szeged and adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Biochemist, specializing in RNA-mediated mechanisms. In 2023, Corico shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Drew Weissman for his discoveries in nucleoside base modification.

Corico received his PhD in biochemistry from the University of Szeged in Hungary in 1982, followed by postdoctoral research at the Hungarian Center for Biological Research, joined the University of Pennsylvania in 1989, and has worked with Weissman since 1997.

For his globally significant contributions to the field of biochemistry, Corico has been elected a member of the National Academy of Medicine, the National Academy of Inventors, the National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the German National Academy of Sciences, the European Academy of Sciences, and a foreign member of the French Academy of Sciences. He has received more than 100 international awards and honors, including the Lasker Award for Clinical Medicine, Time's Hero of the Year 2021, the Order of St. Stephen of Hungary, and honorary doctorates from more than 10 universities, including Yale University, Princeton University, Tel Aviv University, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

What do you mean?

Jing Li studied medicine at Shanghai Medical University in 1986 and received his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1996. After completing his postdoctoral research in tumor genetics at Columbia University, he has been engaged in small molecule drug development in the pharmaceutical industry, participating in and leading several small molecule drug development projects in the areas of cancer, inflammation, autoimmune, metabolic and genetic diseases. He has published more than 50 academic papers and invention patents in journals such as "Science", "Nature Genetics" and "Cancer Research".

Liang Guibai is a front-line scientist and science writer of new drug research and development. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992. After completing his postdoctoral research at Cornell University, he joined the Division of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Merck Institute for New Drugs in 1994 as a senior researcher. Participated in and led a number of new drug research and development projects at different stages, and published a number of academic papers and invention patents in the discovery, design and optimization of lead compounds, as well as the recommendation and synthesis of clinical drugs.

Liang Guibai has long been committed to the exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese and American medical communities, and actively promotes the development of China's medical and health undertakings.
