Lillas Magalit, a former user experience expert at tech companies, combines an analytical framework of social psychology and behavioral economics to expose the fact that digital users are being manipulated by algorithms/technologies. She analyzes the brain science mechanism behind this phenomenon, which is widely used in technology products, and further discusses the physiological, psychological, and even cultural impact of technology on people. Digital psychologist, columnist, PhD in social psychology from the University of Haifa, Israel, specializing in behavioral design and game theory. He was previously a user experience design specialist at ClickTale, a data analytics company. He has been named Psychology Today's columnist of the Year several times.
