作者简介
李华东，北京工业大学教授，清华大学建筑学院博士，师从古建大师梁思成关门弟子郭黛姮。
30多年来一直从事研究、保护、修复古建筑和古民居的工作，并参与梁思成先生《营造法式注释》下卷手稿整理、二十一世纪建筑遗产评定等工作，先后主持多项国家、部委课题。
始终怀着保护、弘扬中国古建筑的初心，把30多年的学术成果和研究心得深入浅出地写进书中，希望每一个中国孩子都能读懂古建筑背后深刻的智慧，读懂中国人的伟大。

About the author
Li Huadong, professor of Beijing University of Technology, Doctor of Architecture School of Tsinghua University, studied under Guo Daiheng, disciple of ancient construction master Liang Sicheng.
For more than 30 years, he has been engaged in the research, protection and restoration of ancient buildings and ancient dwellings, and participated in the manuscript sorting of the second volume of Mr. Liang Sicheng's "Construction French Notes" and the assessment of architectural heritage in the 21st century, and has presided over a number of national and ministerial projects.
Always with the original intention of protecting and promoting ancient Chinese architecture, I have written the academic achievements and research experiences of more than 30 years into a simple book, hoping that every Chinese child can understand the profound wisdom behind ancient architecture and understand the greatness of Chinese people.
