乔治娅·亨特（GeorgiaHunter,1978—）
美国作家，出自一个在“二战”大屠杀中幸存的犹太家庭。自幼热爱写作，1994年，高中生的她得知外祖父那一代在“二战”中的经历，2000年与库尔茨大家族聚会，2008年开始深入研究和挖掘家族故事，历经十数年写成《我们是幸运的》。这是作者的长篇小说处女作。目前她与丈夫、儿子生活在康涅狄格州。

We Are the Lucky
"We Are Lucky" is a long historical novel written by American author Georgia Hunter, based on the real experience of a Polish Jewish family of 12 people, three generations of grandchildren, miraculously survived the Second World War. In fact, in Radom, where the Kurz family lived, fewer than 300 of the 30,000 Jews survived. During the massacre, some members of the family were trapped in isolation, in constant danger of being purged; Some were secretly sent to Siberian labor camps, where they lacked food, clothing, and were forced to work. Some masquerade as non-Jews and live in strange neighborhoods where they can be denounced at any time. Some are abroad, moving between France, Morocco, Portugal and Brazil, with little chance of survival. About the author
GeorgiaHunter (1978 -)
American writer from a Jewish family that survived the Holocaust in World War II. In 1994, when she was a high school student, she learned about the experience of her grandfather's generation in the "World War II", in 2000, she met with the Kurz family, and in 2008, she began to in-depth research and dig family stories, after more than ten years to write "We are Lucky". This is the author's debut novel. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and son.
