里赫特（SviatoslavRichter，1915—1997）是20世纪著名钢琴演奏家，出生于乌克兰。他以极广的演奏曲目、举重若轻的技术以及富有诗意的分句闻名。1995年，里赫特指定著名音乐纪录片导演布鲁诺·蒙桑容为其作传。在接下来的两年时间里，两人进行了多次对谈，他们之间的友谊与信任也与日俱增。这段交往的成果，除了获誉无数的里赫特纪录片之外，还有这本《谜：里赫特》。
本书是蒙桑容在里赫特访谈、里赫特笔记的基础上整理、编著而成，包括里赫特自述和里赫特听乐笔记两大部分。《自述》是里赫特对自己人生经历和钢琴家生涯的完整回顾，生动彰显了这位与众不同的钢琴家的独特人格魅力；《听乐笔记》收入1970—1995年间的里赫特笔记精选，内容包括音乐会和唱片聆听记录，对音乐作品、音乐家和同时代演奏家的评价等，与《自述》形成互补，是里赫特思想和生活的最直观展示。
本书中文版由蒙桑容亲自作序，并提供了两百余幅珍贵图片。除《自述》和《听乐笔记》中的黑白图片外，另附独立成册的《里赫特影像》，收入里赫特彩色照片三十余幅；蒙桑容精心整理的里赫特音乐会和演奏曲目统计，收入所附别册《数字中的里赫特》中。
作者简介
布鲁诺·蒙桑容（BrunoMonsaingeon，1943—），法国著名纪录片导演，拍摄过梅纽因、娜迪亚·布朗热、奥伊斯特拉赫、罗斯特罗波维奇、格伦·古尔德、里赫特等众多音乐名家的纪录片，其中关于里赫特的纪录片为他赢得了最多的奖项，包括1998年国际纪录片电影节金奖。除本书外，还著有《娜迪亚·布朗热访谈录》和格伦·古尔德系列丛书等。
"Enigma" content introduction
Svito Slavrichter (1915-1997) was a famous pianist of the 20th century, born in Ukraine. He is known for his wide repertoire, light-hearted technique, and poetic phrasing. In 1995, Richter appointed Bruno Monsangon, a renowned music documentary filmmaker, as his biography. Over the next two years, the two had many conversations, and their friendship and trust grew. The result of this relationship, in addition to the numerous prestigious Richter documentary, is the book "Enigma: Richter".
This book is organized and compiled by Monsangjung on the basis of Richter's interview and Richter's notes, including Richter's self-narrative and Richter's listening notes. "Self-statement" is a complete review of Richter's life experience and career as a pianist, which vividly demonstrates the unique personality charm of this exceptional pianist. "Listening Notes" was included in the collection of Richert's notes from 1970 to 1995, including concert and record listening records, evaluation of musical works, musicians and contemporary performers, etc., complementary to "Self-Statement", is the most intuitive display of Richert's thoughts and life.
The Chinese version of this book is written by Meng Sang Rong himself, and provides more than 200 precious pictures. In addition to the black and white pictures in "Self-statement" and "Listening Music Notes", there is also an independent volume of "Richter Images", including more than 30 color photos of Richter; Monsangjung's carefully compiled statistics of Richter's concerts and performances are included in the accompanying book, Richter in Numbers.

Bruno Monsanjon (BrunoMonsaingeon, 1943 -), a famous French documentary director, filmed Menuhin, Nadia Boulanger, Oistrach, Rostropovich, Glenn Gould, Richter and many other famous musicians documentary, of which the documentary about Richter won the most awards for him. Including the 1998 International Documentary Film Festival Gold Medal. In addition to this book, he is also the author of "Nadia Boulanger Interviews" and Glenn Gould series.
