英国经济学家，曾任牛津大学赛德商学院院长、伦敦政治经济学院和伦敦商学院经济学教授，现任英国牛津圣约翰学院教授。他为《金融时报》撰写专栏超过20年，著有作品《金融与繁荣》《特别不确定性》《市场的真相》。由于对经济、商业和金融的贡献，他在2021年被授予爵士头衔。
