乔·邓克利（Jo Dunkley）
当代女性天文学家，牛津大学天体物理学博士，现为普林斯顿大学物理学和天体物理学教授。她还是西蒙斯天文台规划委员会成员、鲁宾天文台的暗能量科学合作项目成员。她的主要研究领域为宇宙的起源和宇宙微波背景辐射。
她获得的荣誉有：2012年格鲁伯宇宙学奖、2013年麦克斯韦奖、2014年福勒天文学奖、2016年罗莎琳德·富兰克林奖、2018年基础物理学突破奖、2019年大英帝国勋章、2020年物理学新视野奖等。

About the author
Jo Dunkley
She holds a PhD in astrophysics from Oxford University and is now Professor of physics and astrophysics at Princeton University. She is also a member of the Simmons Observatory Planning Committee and the Rubin Observatory Dark Energy Science Collaboration. Her main research interests are the origin of the universe and the cosmic microwave background radiation.
Her awards include the 2012 Gruber Prize in Cosmology, the 2013 Maxwell Prize, the 2014 Fowler Astronomy Prize, the 2016 Rosalind Franklin Prize, the 2018 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics, the 2019 OBE Medal, and the 2020 New Horizons Prize in Physics.
