作者简介
日本知名学者，哈佛大学博士，毕业于东京大学经济学系，现为东京大学研究生院经济学研究科教授。曾在日本银行工作，担任过一桥大学经济研究所教授。是日本物价理论研究的领跑者，被誉为日本物价理论与实证研究第一人。
Inflation or Deflation
This is a professional book on current global inflation.
The author breaks the previous miscalculation of economists and central banks, pointing out that the fundamental reason for the sudden rise in prices across the world is not the Russia-Ukraine conflict, but the paradigm shift brought about by the epidemic. By analyzing the policy measures in Europe, the United States and Japan to deal with inflation, it explains why traditional tools to stabilize prices are ineffective, how the limitations of central banks lead to their inability to deal with new inflation, and reveals the great challenges faced by Japan and other countries.

About the author
Well-known Japanese scholar, PhD from Harvard University, graduated from the Department of Economics of the University of Tokyo, and is now a professor of the Graduate School of Economics of the University of Tokyo. He worked at the Bank of Japan and was a professor at Hitotsubashi University's Institute of Economics. He is the leader of price theory research in Japan and is known as the first person in price theory and empirical research in Japan.
