Introduction of works

China's wealth management market has grown rapidly from scratch over the past decade. The rapid growth of China's private wealth calls for the great development of wealth management industry. This development has provided conditions for the deepening reform of China's capital market, brought new challenges to the formulation of financial supervision policies, and directly affected the livelihoods of thousands of households. How to manage the wealth in the hand, let it grow more steadily, and finally bring real quality of life and happiness improvement for themselves and their loved ones, has become an important issue of concern for countless families. At the same time, China's hundreds of thousands of wealth management industry practitioners, as well as countless young people aspiring to engage in wealth management, also urgently need a systematic and scientific theoretical system to guide the establishment of a methodology that can adapt to customer needs and cope with the rapidly changing market and regulatory environment. How to balance the survival and development of the institution while the entire industry is still in its infancy, and at the same time try to take into account the satisfaction and long-term interests of wealth customers? How do you take wealth management from a simple product sales job to a truly systematic industry that serves the wealth management needs of wealth clients? How to build lasting relationships of trust with clients in China's still very fickle capital markets? This is the main question studied in this book. The book is also dedicated to financial policy makers, regulators, and various wealth managers. China's wealth management industry has huge potential and is on the rise. After more than a decade of rapid development, the market has begun to take shape, but various wealth management institutions are mainly in the spontaneous and disorderly "savage growth". With the increasingly important role and status of the wealth management industry in the entire capital market, it is urgent to systematically sort out the industry, improve the business model, formulate industry norms, and promote the healthy, orderly and sustainable development of the wealth management industry. This is a systematic review of the wealth management industry from the standpoint of the Chinese people. The author is well versed in the wealth management system of mature western markets, and is well aware of its referential significance for China. However, if we do not take into account the differences in the stage of economic development, the maturity of the market and the regulatory environment, the so-called practice of directly applying mature markets will only be a case of imitation. The ideas and theories in the book are formed in countless encounters with the thinking of China's wealthy families, senior industry insiders, and senior experts and scholars in policy making and regulatory departments. The publication of this book will stimulate a broader and deeper discussion of the wealth management industry, so as to jointly promote the development of this great cause in China.
