作者简介
龚鹏程
江西吉安人，1956年生于台北。当代著名学者和思想家。台湾师范大学国文研究所博士毕业，历任淡江大学文学院院长，台湾南华大学、佛光大学创校校长，美国欧亚大学校长等职。曾获台湾中山文艺奖、中兴文艺奖、杰出研究奖等。2004年起，任北京师范大学、清华大学、南京师范大学教授。现为北京大学中文系教授。2019年就任山东大学文学院专任讲席教授。

This book is a collection of Mr. Gong's articles on modern Chinese and Western culture in recent years. The book introduces the modern trend of thought and modern ideological figures, and studies the influence of Western rationalism, scientism and humanism on modern China; The differences and similarities between Chinese and Western characters, literature, aesthetics, ethics and so on are compared. It also analyzes how the current world should rationally realize the integration and symbiosis of China and the West. About the author
Gong Pengcheng
Ji 'an, Jiangxi Province, was born in 1956 in Taipei. Famous contemporary scholars and thinkers. He graduated from the Institute of Chinese Studies of Taiwan Normal University and served as Dean of Tamkang University, founding president of Nanhua University and Foguang University in Taiwan, and president of Eurasia University in the United States. He has won Taiwan Zhongshan Literature and Art Award, Zhongxing Literature and Art Award, Outstanding Research Award, etc. Since 2004, he has been a professor at Beijing Normal University, Tsinghua University and Nanjing Normal University. He is now a professor of Chinese Literature at Peking University. In 2019, he was appointed as a full chair professor at the College of Literature, Shandong University.
