Content introduction

"Less Sick Old Age" is a lifestyle guide that reveals the secrets of a healthy and long life, written by medical expert Camilo Ricordi (CamilloRicordi), recommended by the 2007 Nobel Prize winner, the World Stem Cell Summit Regenerative Medicine Foundation Chairman, Executive Director and other scientific experts from around the world. Using his own research and stories as clues, the author shows readers how to prevent and reverse aging by improving lifestyle, diet, and protective molecules, extend healthy lifespan, and combat the three major pandemics of the 21st century: unhealthy aging, autoimmune diseases, and novel coronavirus infection.

This book will discuss the risk factors that predisplace us to age-related chronic degenerative, viral, and autoimmune diseases, develop personalized healthy longevity interventions, and assess the effectiveness of such strategies for rejuvenating or at least slowing biological aging. And, as the book delves into the mechanics of aging, turning back time is no longer a science fiction hypothesis but a realistic goal. No change is possible, and each of us is the architect of a long and healthy life. In this book, a long and healthy life is summarized into a set of rules that follow to protect our bodies from cellular aging, inflammation, and immune weaknesses.

This book is a health and longevity book with an international perspective and cutting-edge views, which is not only leading and inspiring, but also readable and universal. The translation of this book is also of a high standard, preserving the original language and expression style of the author, while also taking into account the reading habits and cultural background of Chinese readers. This book is suitable for all readers who care about the health and longevity of themselves and their families, and for all readers interested in medicine and science. This book hopes to help readers awaken their healthy longevity genes to live less sick, happier, and longer lives.
