作者简介
周文翰，艺术和建筑评论家、作家。曾任《财经时报》《新京报》文化记者，后赴印度、西班牙、东南亚等地旅行和写作，2011年至今从事文化研究和艺术展览策划。出版有《中国艺术收藏史》、《时光的倒影：艺术史中的伟大园林》、《花与树的人文之旅》、《废墟之美——亚欧大陆上的建筑奇观》等著作。曾获“2016年度大众喜爱的50种图书”“2016年度中国30本好书”等荣誉。

Journey of the Lone Star: The Biography of Su Dongpo is a biography of Su Shi and the cultural ecology of the Song Dynasty from the perspective of a journalist, tracing Su Shi's life with new historical concepts and aesthetic perspectives, covering his relationship with the political, cultural and artistic ecology of that era, as well as the cultural landscape of the era in which he lived. Zhou Wenhan, the author, tried to present a "dynamic, full-frame picture" rather than just a comic protagonist. In this book, the "foundation" of Su Shi is scholar and official, followed by the writer, poet, poet, calligrapher and scholar successively. In his life, he encountered the ups and downs of officialdom, the tribulations of relegation, the separation of relatives, and the entanglements of personnel, and there were many beauties, fears, helplessness and dreams. He continued to use "artistic ways" such as writing, painting, visiting, and even jokes to fight against the successive malicious intentions and difficulties, so that his life could be enriched and surpassed. This book describes the scenes in Su Shi's life, which are either bright or dim, or explicit or hidden, and then explores why Su Shi became a "star" and why he became a "lone star" in the cultural history of the Northern Song Dynasty.
About the author
Zhou Wenhan is an art and architecture critic and writer. He worked as a cultural reporter for the Financial Times and The Beijing News, then traveled and wrote in India, Spain, Southeast Asia and other places, and has been engaged in cultural research and art exhibition planning since 2011. He has published books such as The History of Chinese Art Collecting, Reflections of Time: Great Gardens in Art History, The Human Journey of Flowers and Trees, and The Beauty of Ruins: Architectural Wonders on the Eurasian Continent. It has won the honors of "2016 Annual Public Favorite 50 Books" and "2016 Annual China 30 Good Books".
