Introduction of works
Malaysia is located on the Strait of Malacca, an important juncture of the "Maritime Silk Road", and is also an important settlement area for overseas Chinese, who occupy a relatively large proportion of the local population. Starting from the 17th century, the Chinese moved south to the Malay Peninsula to make a living, and after more than 200 years of migration, they shaped the Malaysian Chinese society we see today. In this book, special case studies are carried out on the way of shaping the Temple of Happiness and the early Chinese society in Penang, the Hokkien community in Penang, the Chinese religion and gang structure in Perak, the modern Chinese mainland's cognition of Malaysia, and methodological explanations are made on the historical research and field work of the Chinese people in Malaysia with the example of the Hall, which is of great academic significance to promote the research in related fields in China.
