Fighter pilot, engineer, NASA astronaut.
A veteran of four space flights, Scott has led three missions to the International Space Station and participated in nearly a year of missions to the International Space Station. During this mission, he set a new record for the number of consecutive hours a human has worked in space.
Scott spent 340 days in space, orbited the Earth 230 million kilometers, took 713 space photographs, and completed more than 400 experiments. He has more than a million followers on social networks, and then-US President Barack Obama has repeatedly interacted with him on Twitter. Scott is one of the most iconic astronauts in American space history.
