　　在20多年田野考察研究的基础上，对茶马古道的定义、历史缘由、线路、运载主体、区域间综合环境调适和资源互补、城镇与人口流动、文化传播交流和精神价值、意义等进行了清晰深入的探究，试图说明，横断山脉与青藏高原文化带有着历史和空间的持久联系，它们的经济、文化和历史早已相互作用，相互依赖，形成网络紧密地联系在一起，并自然而然融入多元一体的中华文明。《茶马古道》以交互流动往来的“交通线”，“通道”或“走廊”来动态地、整体地贯穿横断山脉与青藏高原文化带这一区域，多方面、多角度地解读茶马古道，并将人文精神贯注其间，以熔铸对茶马古道的人文和审美理解，将学识与阅历、感情合翼，并以生动的文笔畅述，令人耳目心境一新。

　　李旭，学者、行者、写作者，云南省社会科学院研究员，茶马古道专家。不仅参与了茶马古道开创性考察和命名，还持之以恒地进行了深入的探访研究；持续对中国各民族生存发展及文化变迁状况作考察，实地探访考察过中国56个民族并撰写有相关报告；关注于人类即将消失的文化现象以及各类手工劳动的追踪记录。著有《藏客——茶马古道马帮生涯》《九行茶马古道》《茶马古道上的传奇家族》《茶马古道各民族商号及其互动关系》《地角天涯——中国少数民族纪行》《独步三江》等十多部图文专著，另有《滇藏川大三角文化探秘》《滇藏文化带考察》等多种合作著作及摄影画册。

It is a stairway to the holy land; This is an ancient road that has been used for thousands of years by carriers, caravans of horses and yaks. It is a close link between Han and Tibetan ethnic groups and a corridor for cultural communication and exchange.

On the basis of more than 20 years of field investigation and research, this paper has made a clear and in-depth study of the definition, historical reasons, routes, transport subjects, inter-regional comprehensive environmental adjustment and resource complementarity, urban and population flow, cultural communication and exchange, spiritual value and significance of the ancient Tea Horse Road, trying to show that the Hengshan Mountains and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau culture have a lasting connection in history and space. Their economies, cultures and histories have long interacted and depended on each other, forming a network that is closely linked and naturally integrated into the diverse and integrated Chinese civilization. About the author

Li Xu is a scholar, traveler, writer, researcher of Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences, and an expert on the ancient Tea Horse Road. Not only participated in the pioneering investigation and naming of the ancient Tea Horse Road, but also persevered to carry out in-depth research; Continued to investigate the survival, development and cultural changes of various ethnic groups in China, and made field visits to 56 ethnic groups in China and wrote relevant reports; It focuses on the cultural phenomena that humanity is about to disappear and the tracking records of various manual labor.
