The author takes two historical episodes from the Southern Chen and the Southern Tang dynasties, analyzes the life characteristics and literary characteristics of Chen Houzhu, Jiang Zong and Xu Ling in the Southern Chen, Li Jing, Li Yu, Feng Yansi, Han Xizai and Xu Xuan in the Southern Tang Dynasty, and tries to find out the traces of the interpenetration between the economic life of Jinling and the literature of Jiangnan.
