[美]斯黛拉·保罗(Stella Paul)
艺术史家、策展人、色彩专家、博物馆教育家。她先后毕业于哈佛大学和南加州大学，曾参与史密森尼学会美国艺术档案馆南加州中心的运营，担任过洛杉矶县立艺术博物馆策展人，后供职纽约大都会艺术博物馆长达二十余年。在大都会艺术博物馆工作期间，她是博物馆展览与传播教育负责人，设计项目、开办讲座、参与教学与写作。此外，她还监制音频导览，负责制作了多个主题展与巡展的数千条讲解音频，在拉近观众与艺术之间的距离和博物馆交流、教育方面做出了杰出贡献。
斯黛拉·保罗著述广泛，现代艺术和战后艺术是其大部分写作的核心。她的写作注重跨越时间和文化，强调跨学科性质的研究，代表作有《20世纪艺术：教学手册》（Twentieth-Century Art：A Resource for Educators）、《与色同住：当代室内设计中的色彩》（Living in Color:Color in Contemporary Interior Design）、《红色：单色建筑》（Red:Architecture in Monochrome）、《黑色：单色建筑》（Black:Architecture in Monochrome）等。作为费顿出版社长期合作的作者，她也参与了《艺术博物馆》（The Art Museum）和《时间中的艺术》（Art in Time）的撰写。

About the author
[Beauty] Stella Paul
Art historian, curator, color expert, museum educator. A graduate of Harvard University and the University of Southern California, she ran the Southern California Center of the Smithsonian Institution's Archives of American Art, served as a curator at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and then worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York for more than 20 years. At the Metropolitan Museum of Art, she was the museum's director of exhibition and communication education, designing programs, giving lectures, teaching and writing. In addition, she also supervised the production of audio guides and was responsible for the production of thousands of audio explanations for various theme exhibitions and touring exhibitions, which made outstanding contributions to bridging the distance between audiences and art, museum communication and education.
Stella Paul has written extensively, with modern and postwar art at the heart of much of her writing. Her writing focuses on cross-disciplinary research across time and culture, including Twentieth-Century Art: A Resource for Educators and Living With Color: "Living in Color:Color in Contemporary Interior Design," "Red:Architecture in Monochrome," "Black: Black:Architecture in Monochrome. A longtime author at Fitton, she also contributed to The Art Museum and Art in Time.

After graduating from the Art History Department of the School of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, he studied in France and studied Western art history at the Musee du Louvre. He now lives in Beijing and works in the field of culture and art. He has been translated into "Fickle Colors: A Short History of Colors" and so on.
