Luoyang, a glorious city lost in thorns; Buddha Sing, a special style of Chinese lament; Fantasy, how many cities and times birth and death of fate and ordinary people endless sigh. Luoyang, this glory has been buried in the ancient city in wormwood, once upon a time, it was the ancient capital of the thirteen dynasties in the world. With the rise and fall of Luoyang in the Northern Wei Dynasty, the novel attempts to outline a lost past in Chinese memory and the hardships that that era inflicted on ordinary people. The story begins when a captive carver hopes to reunite with his lost wife. He creates and experiences a series of illusions, only to find himself in the midst of an even greater one.

Architect, writer, curator. Principal researcher of Future Laboratory of Tsinghua University, doctoral supervisor of School of Fine Arts and School of Architecture, PhD of Design of Harvard University, researcher of architecture and city. His works include "From Waste Garden to Yan Garden", "Fireworks of Chang 'an" and "Ten Lectures on Art Museum".
