奎多·托内利
意大利粒子物理学家，比萨大学通用物理教授，日内瓦欧洲核子研究中心（CERN）访问学者。他在希格斯玻色子（上帝粒子）的发现中发挥了关键作用，弗朗索瓦·恩格勒特和彼得·希格斯在此基础上获得了2013年诺贝尔物理学奖。因为在专业领域的贡献，托内利于2012年被授予意大利共和国总统荣誉勋章，并先后获得过意大利物理学会颁发的恩里科·费米奖、基础物理学特别突破奖等多个奖项。

About the author
Guido Tonelli
Italian particle physicist, Professor of General Physics at the University of Pisa, Visiting scholar at CERN, Geneva. He played a key role in the discovery of the Higgs boson (God particle), on which Francois Englert and Peter Higgs were awarded the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physics. For his professional contributions, Tonelli was awarded the Order of Honor of the President of the Italian Republic in 2012, and has received several awards from the Italian Physical Society, such as the Enrico Fermi Prize and the Special Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics.
