蒙纳（Monotype）公司字体创意总监。在两度获得西文字体的国际比赛大奖之后，于2001年迁居德国。不仅与著名字体设计师赫尔曼·查普夫、阿德里安·弗鲁蒂格共同开发西文字体，还担任“翔鹤黑体”“松籁黑体”等日文字体的监修。以欧美、亚洲为中心，在世界各地举办演讲、开办工作坊，并担任各种国际比赛的评审。2022年获得纽约字体指导俱乐部颁发的TDC奖章。著有《西文字体》《西文字体2》（日文，均有简体中文版）等，合著有《英文标志设计：易于传达给用户的英文写法》（日文）等。

Creative Director of typefaces at Monotype. He moved to Germany in 2001 after winning two international competitions for Western fonts. In addition to co-developing Western typefaces with renowned typeface designers Herman Chapf and Adrian Frutig, he is also the supervisor of Japanese typefaces such as "Sho-Tsuru Blackface" and "Matsuana Blackface". Focusing on Europe, the United States, and Asia, we give lectures and workshops around the world, and serve as judges for various international competitions. In 2022, he received the TDC Medal from the Typeface Instruction Club of New York. He is the author of "Western Font", "Western Font 2" (Japanese, both in simplified Chinese), etc., and co-authored "English Logo Design: English writing that is easy to communicate to users" (Japanese).
