Introduction of works
On his 68th birthday, Kevin Kelly began writing down some life advice for his children, wisdom he hopes they will learn early on. Over the years, he continued to write new pieces of advice, and when he had enough, he decided to write this book so that readers could share them with friends and others who wanted to improve their lives.
Some of this advice is based on specific life experiences, but most of it is based on timeless values and virtues that will not change no matter how innovative technology becomes, including gratitude, kindness, optimism, and so on.

Founding editor of Wired magazine. Affectionately known as K.K. by Chinese readers, he was the editor and publisher of The Whole Earth Survey magazine before founding Wired. He is also a contributor to The New York Times, The Economist, Time, Science and other magazines. He is the author of "Out of Control," "Inevitable," "What Technology Wants," and "The World after 5,000 days." In 1984, KK launched the first Hacker conference. Kevin Kelly has been described as a spokesman and observer of "cyber culture", and some have called him a "prophet of technology".
