The author is co-director of the Center for Social Enterprise Research at Columbia Business School and former CEO of Environnement, a global carbon trading company. He has 20 years of experience in climate solutions projects and investments. In this book, he introduces the impacts of climate issues and their solutions, focusing on the leading areas of climate solutions, the available physical and financial assets, the opportunities and risks, the appropriate investment strategies and practices, and the expected return on investment.

Bruce Ussher is co-director and professor of the Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School, where he focuses on the intersection of financial, social, and environmental issues. In addition to his solid professional background, Ussher also has extensive experience in finance, investment and industry. He is a former CEO of Eco Environment, a world-renowned carbon trading company, and co-founder and CEO of TreasuryConnect LLC, an electronic trading solution provider. He has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry and is a venture capital advisor to investors and entrepreneurs focused on climate issues and clean energy.
