【作者简介】
杉山春，一九五八年生于东京，毕业于早稻田大学第一文学部。曾任杂志编辑，后转为自由职业者。多次撰写人物专访，写作有关育儿及亲子问题、父母杀害亲生子女等主题的报告文学。作品有关注女性贫困问题的《纪实·虐待——大阪两儿童被弃置致死案》、探索日本社会家庭关系沉疴的《从虐待儿童想到的：社会如何向家庭施压》等。

A young couple put their three-year-old daughter, Chena, in a cardboard box for nearly 20 days, during which time she had little to eat and eventually starved to death. They also had a one-and-a-half-year-old son, and her mother, Yami, was pregnant.
The case has shocked Japanese society. Haru Sugiyama is a nonfiction writer and mother of a young boy. She spent three and a half years interviewing the parents and their families, child protection organizations, hospitals and other people involved in the trial, collecting court information, and finally restoring the full picture of the case in detail and objectively, deeply revealing the personal and social reasons behind it, and also asking: Why is it always the mother who is blamed and convicted?

【 About the author 】
Haru Sugiyama, born in 1958 in Tokyo, graduated from the First Department of Literature at Waseda University. He worked as a magazine editor before becoming a freelancer. He has written many personal interviews and reportage on topics such as parenting and parent-child issues, and parents killing their own children. His works include Documentary Abuse: The Case of Two children Abandoned to Death in Osaka, which focuses on women's poverty, and From Child Abuse: How Society Puts Pressure on Families, which explores the ills of family relations in Japanese society.
What do you mean?
Ye Yi graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University majoring in Japanese. He studied in Japan and taught Chinese at the local Confucius Institute.
