阿莫斯特学院生命科学（心理学）教授。
先后获得斯坦福大学心理学学士学位、普林斯顿大学心理学硕士和博士学位。
2012年，桑德森教授被《普林斯顿评论》（PrincetonReview）评为“全美教授300强”。桑德森教授正在研究的课题是：社会规范以及人们对社会规范的误解会如何影响性安全、饮食失调等健康相关行为以及预防不健康行为的劝导和干预方法。该研究课题获得美国国家科学基金会和美国国家卫生研究院的的共同资助。

About the author
Katherine A.Sanderson
Professor of Life Sciences (Psychology), Amherst College.
He received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Stanford University and a master's degree and a doctorate in psychology from Princeton University.
In 2012, Professor Sanderson was named one of the "Top 300 Professors in America" by the PrincetonReview. Professor Sanderson is researching how social norms and people's misunderstanding of social norms influence health-related behaviors such as sexual safety and eating disorders, as well as approaches to persuasion and intervention to prevent unhealthy behaviors. The research was supported by grants from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
