Jones is a journalist and columnist for several British newspapers, the best-selling author of such books as "Heroes: David Bowie" and "Bohemian Rhapsody: A Biography of Freddie Mercury," and a regular contributor to radio and television documentaries. She has interviewed some of the world's most popular musicians, such as David Bowie, Paul McCartney, Madonna, Prince, and many others, and often develops a strong friendship with the subjects. She is a mother of three and lives in London.
